Why does the intelligent sweeping robot shell use IMD technology?
If you use ordinary injection molding and spraying technology, you can also do some pattern effects on the outside of the product, but this pattern effect is not so advanced, and there may be a risk of color loss. In addition, the paint sprayed on the surface often has uneven, irregular grooves on the surface, and even some heterochromatic spots. Then, using IMD technology can just solve these problems, and can also produce excellent logos, And lighting effects, while making the surface harder, making it more wear-resistant. However, after using the IMD process, some undesirable problems may arise, such as shell deformation, which is a common problem. Deformation of the shell can cause assembly problems, so it is necessary to design some clips on the back of the product to balance the possible poor assembly caused by deformation. Therefore, structural designers need to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the entire product assembly. In some cases we have contacted, there are often cases where IMD processes are used because small deformations do not affect the assembly and the overall product appearance. Of course, there are some products with no buckles in their structural design that cannot accept this deformation. The deformation degree is generally between 0.3 and 1.0.

In Mold Decoration(IMD): use PET film coated on the surface as the carrier to print ink pattern layer, adhesive and ink curing on the printing surface. Then it is heated and baked for hot pressing forming and trimming. Put the shaped PET film into the injection mold cavity through manual or mechanical hand to fill the plastic, and melt the adhesive to bond the PET film with the ink pattern layer to form a whole with the plastic under high temperature.

5.Punching: punch holes in the diaphragm to fix the diaphragm for the next process
6.Cutting: cut the diaphragm into smaller pieces
7.Diaphragm forming: mold the diaphragm into product shape
9.Edge cutting and material removal: cut off the excess edge material
10.In-mold injection molding: put the molded diaphragm into the mold of the injection molding machine to inject plastic
11.Water outlet: remove excess plastic
12.Inspection and packaging:Conduct a comprehensive inspection on the finished products to confirm that the quality is qualified, and then pack them for shipment
